Stress Relief

Lots of hard-core gamers look for ways to get their parents, girlfriends, and wives off their backs. Well now maybe you can.  And let’s not discrimate, I’m sure there are ladies out there too that are trying to get their boyfriends and husbands off their backs.  More realistically if you are a woman gamer, then you’re other half is playing along with you.

Playing video games can actually do wonders for your mind and body. Hopefully you too can share some of this insight with the non-gamers in your life and finally get them off your back!

Some people like to take a bath or read a book to get their mind off the day to day of life. When a person is reading a book, they are in “another world” so to speak. In that area, video games do the very same thing. Except they provide a more deeper transportation. Get the non-gamer in your life to sit down and play a game of Solitaire. Then see how they feel after that. I guarantee, they will feel better.

Decision making is part of most people’s daily lives. Well with video games, quick thinking and decision making are imperative. You never know when a killer dog or mobster is going to pop out and attack. You must be “on your toes” and quick decision making is imperative in most video games.

What happened to logical thinking? These days not many people can think logically. Well with video games you can actually improve your logic. Most any video game will train your mind to think logically.

With the combination of less stress, quicker decision making skills and logical thinking, how in the world can anyone say that video games are a waste of time?

So it appears that playing all of those video games is actually a work out for your brain AND a huge stress reliever.
