Microsoft is looking for someone to work with their WGX (Windows Gaming Experience) team.
As a test manager, your primary responsibilities include providing technical leadership to your team, a ton of cross group collaboration, establishing test infrastructure & processes, hands on design & implementation, driving complex issues to closure, providing guidance & mentorship for testers coming onboard, collaborating on functional requirements, and coordinating team deliverables. You will be a key member of the WGX Windows Platform Development team leadership working in close partnership with the GPM and Dev Manager. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to help define scenarios & experience as well as engaging with many partners and groups across the company to help establish technical roadmaps and directions for the group and the company.
Requirements include:
* Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, and technical skills
* 7+ years of software test development of production software in Windows through multiple full development cycles.
* The ability to write clear, robust & maintainable code
* Demonstrated technical leadership
* The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
* Understanding of the Windows Engineering Excellence processes and requirements
Having experience in DirectX and Gaming in Windows is preferred. BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
