Two Open Game Testing Positions
I know many times that the positions I post on my site are not perfect for everyone. Taking that into consideration, I try my best to get a nice flow of different types of jobs posted hoping to please as many people as possible.
Normally I only post one job at a time, but I thought today it would be cool if I did a few jobs. They are both with the same company, Volt.
So here are the details on each position.
The first is for an Entry Level Game Tester.
Your duties will include:
* Finding bugs in games
* Providing written tracking of bugs
* Maintaining excellent verbal and written communication
* Having a passion for video games!
Requirements are perfect for those who have NO experience testing:
* You must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
* You must be passionate about video games!
The second position is for a Game Tester who is knowledgebable on cars. The title of the position is Love of Cars & Video Games-Software Tester
Your duties will include:
* Execute pre-written manual test cases and report product abnormalities when they are found.
* Write manual test cases and own feature areas.
Requirements are pretty extensive on this one:
* 1+ year of Software and/or Game Testing experience
* Previous test experience (either in games or traditional testing)
* Avid Gamer – Loves Games!
* Fluency in a wide range of car makes, models, visual details, and automotive terminology required – has a deep understanding of cars and enjoys discussing automotive topics!
* Sharp eye for visual detail
* Solid organizational skills
* Quick learner
* Excellent time and priority management
* Relentless determination and proven ability to research and uncover hard-to-find information
* Great communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* Strong testing skills
* Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail and the ability to learn new information quickly and the ability to communicate test results quickly
