Founded in 2005 by former members of Blizzard Entertainment, Carbine Studios is a growing developer in MMO games.
With a new unannounced MMO in pre-production, they are looking for a QA Lead Tester. Do you have what it takes to fill that position?
Requirements are:
* 2+ years experience testing software
* 2+ years experience leading a large team of testers
* 1+ year managing a bug database
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Able to analyze and provide feedback on technical documentation
* Strong knowledge of PC hardware and OS
* Strong passion for testing online computer games (MMOs)
As QA lead, you would be in charge of managing the entire testing process on a given software title. This effort includes creating schedules, reports, and checklists; managing the input and follow though of defects in our company database; clarifying issues with the development team; organizing headcount and resources; interfacing with all other groups assigned to the same project; and ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely manner.  QA Leads have the responsibility of training their teams in current QA processes, and updating that training when new procedures are created. The Lead works with the local Producer to schedule publishes utilizing existing procedures. Leads report to the NC Interactive, Inc. Director of Quality Assurance and the Supervisor reporting to him.
