Soulcalibur IV
I know, many of you are eagerly waiting for this game to come out, which is scheduled for release to by the end of this month. When the first arcade version of this series ‘Soul Edge’ was released in 1996, due to its excellent visuals and addictive combat styles, Soul gained some popularity. Its popularity has continued to grow and is now on its 6th version (4th of this series) of the game. ‘Soulcalibur IV’ is set to rock the gaming world. In this part of the series the battle between the spirit sword Soul Calibur and the cursed sword Soul Edge continues.
An exciting and popular note for many gamers are the Star Wars Characters including Yoda (exclusively on Xbox 360) and Darth Vader (exclusively on PS3).
Online play has now also been added to the game, which I know has become a highly wanted style of play for many hard core gamers out there today.
This weapon based arcade game is one of the most liked fighting games amongst hard core gamers across the world. The new version is much different from its previous version. It not only features superb visuals, but you will also be challenged by several highly skilled combatants. There are several modes of play; obviously this makes the game even more interesting. One is of course regular Arcade Mode, which is the original story mode. Another is time attack, where you defeat a certain number of enemies in a specified time limit. Yet another is survival mode, which is a knock out mode.
Like the previous series of this game, the characters possess featured weapons and a series of deadly attacks used to ruin your opponent. Whichever combat mode you choose, it is easier to control any character you select in this latest version. You can also perform a training course before you appear within any fighting arenas. The arenas are also visually spectacular and create a real life fighting environment along with a kick ass soundtrack to keep up the fighting spirit within you.
The characters of this game are also smoothly animated. You can battle with your opponent in a raft or in an underground cavern just to name a few options. The game is set to be released by the end if this month on the 29th.for Xbox 360 & PS3.
