Open Beta Testing Opportunities
So many gamers want to get a game testing job and then they find they have no experience and can’t get selected for some of the prime positions because of this. Well this information is just for you.
One of the ways I suggest that gamers get experience, is by volunteering their time with unpaid beta tests. You can then put that experience on your resume before you apply for a paying gig.
One of my subscribers is working on doing something like this and asked me to share two of the more recent beta testing opportunities with everyone.
The first is Red Faction: Guerrilla. Available on XBox Live, this beta test requests that you give feedback via a forum. One of the cool things about beta testing this game is that you get to pretty much destroy everything.
As of 8/15, there were only a handful of beta keys left to give out. Then they will close the beta test, take the results and prepare to finalize the game. This is your chance to be heard. If you’re interested in this test just go here
Gamershell has also released a Project Powder beta which you can read about here.
It looks like from that page you can just download it, but it’s not clear on how you can comment on the game to them. That is something you’ll have to read about first.
Both are great opportunities to get some experience on your resume so if you have the time get on them now!
