Job as a Tester
I located a new posting that is for a full time tester. They are also paying up to $25 per hour to get the job done.
The job is located out of Seattle, Washington. It is with Robert Half Technology. They are a very big provider of IT professionals and work with many major gaming developers and distributors.
They are looking for both experienced and non-experienced testers. Raw talent and problem solving are the two major points they are looking for in their perfect candidate. As the job posting states, it is the “this is a great chance to get some work experience under your belt while working on a wide variety of products…”
These testing gigs are not just related to gaming. They will also be testing web sites, databases, mobile devices, educational software and antivirus software.
They clearly specify that formal education is not necessary. More specifically they state “Formal education not necessary - high school grads, self-educated individuals, and candidates who have taught themselves how to use a programming language, or develop a game or website or other side hobbies related to technology are welcome to apply!”
