Gamers Needed to Test Video Games
When I come across these types of positions, I love to get them posted. It’s not about looking for testers to test games. It’s all about looking for GAMERS to test games. Bottom line is that if we are a tester or looking to become a tester, we love games and are always gamers at heart.
The job description is simple:
* Play and test video games
* Accurately write bug reports using a PC-based tool
* Report results to the team Lead
This is just a 1-3 month temporary contract position thru a temp agency, but that being said most of the time there is an option to extend that position to a more permanent one. You do a good job, you get noticed, simple as that.
Here are the requirements for this position, so be sure to read them carefully before you apply. Qualified applicants must:
* Have professional game testing experience.
* Have a high standard of English language communication skills (written and oral).
* Have a passionate interest in video games.
* Be team oriented.
* Be dependable and trustworthy.
* Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in the US.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Have a proactive and flexible approach to work.
* Have good investigative and problem-solving skills and be able to work with little supervision.
* Be technically minded.
* Possess a “can-do” attitude.
* Have a drive to succeed and be willing to take on challenges as they arise.
* Be able to respond effectively to frequently changing priorities and requirements.
