Game Testing Job in NYC
Bioshock is a new game put out by a company named 2K Games located in Soho. I just found out that they are looking for game testers to work in their offices in NYC. It sucks that it is only for New York residents, but that is my home town!
So the job breaks down to 3 hours of play per day. The job will last 3 days, so it’s only a temp job. There is an application that needs to be filled out and then sent in via email to be considered for the position. The company is paying $10 per hour, which isn’t fantastic, but the fact that you get to be part of this awesome looking game makes up for that. The hours are pretty flexible too.
Best part about getting this job would be just to get an opportunity to get your foot in the door with 2K Games. You start testing Bioshock and who knows how many other games you’ll get to play.
Testing actually starts on Wednesday 1/31/07 so you’ve got to act fast! They are also considering extending the testing to a second week so if you apply and don’t get considered for this week’s testing, you may get in next week.
