For Those With Experience
Listen the word “experience” can come about in a multitude of ways. You do not necessarily have to have experience working a paid gig as a tester. You could have worked as a volunteer beta tester (which so many of us have at some point in our lives).
One of the greatest places to gain testing experience (as a paid gig) is Nintendo. But not every gamer lives near a Nintendo location. So this isn’t always possible.
What you will see once you gain experience (no matter what kind) is that there are endless supplies of opportunities out there for you. Most paying more money and offering more benefits than your standard entry level positions.
I found two positions that are both amazing.
The first one is in Seattle WA and it’s a cool gig doing something called “Title Updates”. Among other duties you will get to do competitive research and reporting. Which I find really cool. It helps with feedback on a game.

Second position is cool as well. It’s for a Game Software Test Engineer. Fancy name for a tester with experience. This position is also located in Seattle, WA.
