Here is an overview of the job:
QA Tester tests video games for functionality and usability; tracking, recording and verifying discrepancies; working with others to help find and solve technical problems following quality assurance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform functionality, usability, and regression testing of products test configuration and compatibility of games and software on:
* Multiple hardware platforms (PC, Xbox, X360, PSP, PS2, PS3, DS, Wii, Mac, Ipod and all other platforms as required.
* Executes the test procedures for each Work Project within the time designated.
* Documents all bugs (adhering to quality and quantity standards).
* Ensures all bugs are logged in the shift are identified.
* Follows test standards.
* Escalates issues associated with test procedures to the Senior Tester or Lead.
* Enters time at the end of testing each Work Project (at a minimum daily).
* Ensures that they are testing at all times and have all required materials to do so; if not, escalates to Senior Tester or Lead.
* Attends test-procedure walk-through meetings.
