Contract QA Game Tester
Big Fish Games is currently seeking a game tester via a staffing agency by the name of Parker Staffing Services for a 3 month gig.
The job includes:
* Working in a fun, fast paced environment on first party, and third party casual games.
* Configuration testing on various system combinations, and investigating deep gameplay issues.
* Taking a lead role in driving a game QA pass from start to finish.
* Assisting other QA members on projects as needed.
* Documenting project process and test pass cycles.
* Working closely with developers throughout the product cycle.
Requirements include:
* At least 2 years experience testing PC games, and familiar with logging bugs, and writing and following test cases.
* Able to lead small projects, and be relatively self sufficient.
* Can handle shifting schedules, set priorities, and handle multiple projects with team support.
* In depth understanding of the development cycle of a game project
* Good communication skills.
* Passion for games, user experience, and good game design.
* Experience with config testing for video, browser, and OS issues.
* Ability to learn quickly as project needs change.
