Be A Test Supervisor
THQ is looking for a test supervisor to work in either CA or AZ. This is one of the higher up jobs you can get in testing. You will actually manage the test leads and testers and help execute the departments vision.
I’ve written about THQ before and I think they are a fantastic company to work for.
This position would require you to have 2 years of experience in QA so it it not intended for the entry level testers out there. This is definitely more of something along the lines of a management position and one that requires you are familiar with the testing process already.
Other qualifications include:
* Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to organize teams, to create plans, and to execute effectively.
* Detail oriented.
* Capable of multitasking effectively.
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a leadership team, making sound business decisions and implementing departmental policies as a unified group.
* Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
* Knowledge of the video game industry, including the various platforms, genres, competitive titles, and industry news.
