Activision is hiring testers for Raven Software. Located in Madison Wisconsin and you must be on location if you want this gig. It’s a temporary position (as many testing gigs are) running from Nov 2009 to March 2010. The shift is 8am to 6pm.
Job Requirements are:
* 18 years of age or older
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Prior testing experience in the gaming industry
* Strong interest in video games
* Technical skills with PC’s and consoles (XBOX 360, Playstation 3) for troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
* Availability to work forty or more hours per week including weekends, when required
* Sharp attention to detail
* Great verbal communication skills
* Ability to explain issues thoroughly and professionally
* Strong command of all parts of writing process; copy, revision, editing, etc.
* Highly motivated
* Honesty and a strong work ethic
* Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively
* Ability to remain focused in a team-oriented environment
