What’s Up With XBox Live?
Right after Christmas, I started experiencing all sorts of problems when playing my online XBox 360 games. My favorite at the moment was Call of Duty 4. I am obsessed with domination for one, not to mention many others.
So I noticed that I kept losing my connection to XBox live, it was really frustrating. I could not figure out what was going on. I checked my modem, my connection, everything seemed to be fine, but I would keep getting booted out of a game right in the middle of it. Or it would just freeze up.
Well now I know why. Apparently a TON of people got XBox 360’s for Christmas. Several million were sold during the holiday season. I read about one gamer who was unable to get games going over XBox live 90 percent of the time, that must have really sucked. I thought I was having a hard time, I can’t imagine how he felt.
So the company is not working “around the clock to restore the service to a stable state”. Let’s hope they get this done ASAP.
It also appears that many gamers had the very same issues.
Can you imagine how excited you would be to finally have an XBox 360 and not be able to go online and play games like Halo 3 and COD4? I just cannot even imagine what that must feel like. I’ve had my XBox 360 FOREVER so I can deal with some down time, it allows me to get some work done around the house!
Hopefully you didn’t all experience what I did and I am sure it will be resolved pretty damn quick. Last night it seemed to be working better already.
