Tom Clancy’s EndWar
Tom Clancy’s EndWar is being released on November 4, 2008. It was published by Ubisoft Entertainment and developed by Ubisoft Shanghai. Tom Clancy’s EndWar is set on the battlegrounds of 3rd world war.
I don’t know about you, but I love Tom Clancy based games. They always feel so real and could potentially really occur in today’s times.
This game is focused on an energy crisis. Hummm sound familiar?
Scott Mitchell of the Ghost Recon series leads as a General. The Ghost Recon team will be the Special Forces team for the US faction, Rainbow Six characters will be promoted as special EF commanders, and Third Echelon will provide battlefield intelligence, along with special units such as snipers. The U.S. president in this game is David Becerra. World relations have changed. Saudi Arabia and Iran have had a nuclear war. Russia does not want the US to gain back its “Superpower” title. All leads what seems to be inevitable. An all out global war.
In this game, you take control of lots of units and then command them around the battleground deciding which ones must be used in specific conditions. You will learn which unit should be used when. In that way, you will achieve success in the game. For example, choppers are tank killers and heavy infantry units are useful when you require taking out some other types of vehicles.
Every battalion has different qualities like one features crack engineers and another is best at support roles such as command vehicles and artillery.
There are 3 playable groups in EndWar:
1.The Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade, which is composed of veterans of Russia’s many regional conflicts, specializing in heavy weapons and heavy armor. Russia’s campaign mode will focus on a Russian invasion of Europe.
2.The European Federation Enforcers Corps, which is made up of veteran elite counter-terrorist and peacekeeping forces from throughout Europe, especially skilled in urban warfare.
3.The United States’ Joint Strike Force, which is led by Ghost Recon main character Scott Mitchell, is modeled after today’s Marine Expeditionary Units.
The largest innovation of this game is the capability of giving your units some voice commands along with the headset.
