The Lord of the Rings: Conquest
The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, will release by the end of this year. This game is being published by Electronic Arts and was developed by Pandemic Studios. Pandemic Studios was also involved in developing the blockbuster series Starwars: Battlefront. Conquest is said to be a semi spiritual version of Starwars: Battlefront. The Lord of the Rings: Conquest will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo DS, and PC.
This game will allow the player to take part in any of the battles seen in the movie and also a few extra ones. The player will be able to select any of the characters from the movie to play with. A total of 150 characters will be able to clash at one time and about 16 players will be able to clash online.
Some of the characters are Ents, Oliphaunts, Heroes, Cave trolls, Wargs, the Balrog, ballistae, Nazgul and many more. There are two campaigns Fight for the Evil or Fight for Good. A player can participate in both of these campaigns. The developers have years of experience in creating and designing huge battlefields. In addition, the player can choose his style combat as an Archer, Warrior, Scout, or Magot.
As the player moves ahead in the game by scoring points, he or she can unlock new abilities. In addition, there will be different creatures that will serve as modes of transport to take you from one place to another or to break open enemy gates. Players will be equipped with a set of weapons and skills to take on their enemies. There are 4 different action modes. They are Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Hero Deathmatch, and Capture the Ring.
In the ‘Capture the Flag’ game mode, the mission is to capture the enemies flag, which is highly guarded by the enemies and bring it back home. However, at the same time you have to prevent the enemy from doing the same to you. Deathmatch consists of saving yourself from the enemies when a kill fight ensues. Anyone familiar with Deathmatch modes knows exactly what this entails. The Hero Deathmatch is similar to the former, except that you get to play your favorite hero.
