Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Testing Experts Skills To Their Limits
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is the latest offering by Lucas Arts. This game is going to be released for the PS3 some time in September 2008. A demo version was released on August 21, 2008.
This game can also be played on Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, and Nintendo DS.
It is a single player game. This video game is set between the Star Wars III and Star Wars IV episodes.
The player will take on the role of Darth Vader’s secret apprentice who is on a mission to destroy the Jedi. There are some new technologies which are being used in this game. The new technologies are Euphoria (by NaturalMotion Ltd) and Digital Molecular Matter (by Pixelux Entertainment). These are used in combination with the Havok Physics system to produce unimaginable game play.
This game explores the aftermath of the Order 66, which stated that all the Jedi should be executed. The Secret Apprentice journeys across the galaxy from one planet to another such as Raxus Prime and Felucia. Since the protagonist of any story always has a sidekick, the Secret Apprentice has two. They are a holodroid called Proxy and an Imperial pilot named Juno Eclipse. The Secret Apprentice as his nickname suggests is very mysterious.
All we know is that Darth Vader has personally trained him and he is a master of the light saber and has many dark powers. Darth Vader has sent the apprentice on many missions before but this time he is on a dark mission to capture a rogue Jedi. Vader hopes to team up with his apprentice to destroy the Emperor in the future.
During the game, you can upgrade your powers so that the secret apprentice gets more and more destructive with time. In addition, the stunning visuals of the game make the game even more unbelievable. Combo attacks can be done by combining the force powers with the light saber.
