Quantum of Solace: The Game
Quantum of Solace the video game is being published by Activision and developed by Treyarch and its release date is sometime in November of 2008.
This game is based on the upcoming James Bond movie Quantum of Solace. It is a multiplayer game. The player will be Bond…..James Bond. Who wouldn’t want to be Bond yet again? The player is supposed to think intelligently like Bond. It requires the player to be ruthless. The player will tackle enemies using an arsenal of weaponry provided in the game. Different kinds of guns with different capabilities are provided to the player. You can also tackle them with your moves or hide under cover for a surprise attack.
Your thinking obviously has to be quick in this game as your enemies are going to be faster than you are. The voice of the player will be quite similar to that of the real Bond. In addition, voices of other characters in the game are similar to that of the movie actors. Therefore, it gives you a truly realistic experience.
In addition, on each mission the player gets to visit exotic locations such as the Bolivian deserts, Venice, Madagascar, etc. Up to 12 players can play the game simultaneously.
There are also various modes in the game such as Golden Gun mode and Bond VS mode to name a few. The release date of the Bond game is the same as that of the Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
Although the player will be a shooter and the game is in first person, you’ll notice that when you climb up a wall for example, the camera shoots from a different angle. So you get more a hybrid effect wherein you’re shown from the 3rd person. They took this approach because the makers felt it is important that Bond be seen.
The game combines both movies Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. Quantum of Solace takes place about one hour after where Casino Royale left off.
