Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising scheduled to released September 29, 2009 is a first person guerilla war simulation game developed for PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC with realistically designed modern infantry combat.
The game begins in Asia. It takes place on a fictional disputed island between China and Russia off the coast of Japan. The fictional island is rich in natural resources and is rumored as having the world’s largest gas and natural oil reserves. The game begins as you, the player; part of the American army is assigned to fight the Chinese as directed and requested by the Russians.
Multiplayer option makes this game more exiting. The PC version is said to have a maximum player count of 32 players in addition to a total of 3 AI Squad members per player. There will be a total of 8 players in the console formats of the game.
As in typical first person shooters, Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising is an objective based game. The objectives depend on each mission, and the type of ammunition will depend solely on the objectives. A full damage environment has been built in this game to give it a visually appealing effect. All the buildings of Skira can be entered by both the player and the enemy AI.
