Ninja Blade has been developed by FromSoftware and is being published by Microsoft. Ninja Blade is all set to be released on April 7, 2009 exclusively for XBox 360.

This game is a must for those who love to be irreverent. This game takes the important and serious concept of ninja fighting and introduces an element of hilariousness through its screenplay and graphics. You play the game as Ken Ogawa and you have a team of dedicated ninjas to assist you in the destruction of infected monsters that are spreading a virulent disease which has the capacity to destroy mankind as we know it.

As is often the case with such games, you are betrayed by your own men and you find yourself alone and as defenseless as a skilled ninja can ever become in your fight against these monsters. How you overcome your enemies despite being outnumbered and outmaneuvered is the crux of the game.

To help you in your task are your wonderful ninja tools, weapons and skills. Further, you have two super weapons in the form of Ninja Vision and Todom Attack. The Ninja Vision helps you identify your enemies’ weak points from afar and also helps you find secret passages that lead to goodies which will help you advance further in the game.

You are a ninja and are trained to avoid mindless violence and senseless action. In this game, you will have to focus on strategy and environment as much as action and violence. Using the right tools and weapons at the right place will mean your work is already half done. All you need to do is execute your plans to kill your enemies. You have tools ranging from dual swords to grenades. A wise ninja is one who knows when to use which weapons and more important when not to use a particular weapon.

The game is divided into stages and you move from one stage to another by killing mini-bosses.

At the end of every stage, you have to tackle the boss to move on to the next stage. This is where you get to use your Todom Attack which pierces the heart of the enemy and is one way to make sure your diseased monster never lives again.

The feel of a ninja on a skyscraper using his skills to save a city has a cool feeling to it and it certainly translates well on your screen through great visuals and graphics. If you love hard core action games, then you’ve got to check this one out.
