Maramasa the Demon Blade is an action packed game and is a ‘love at first sight’ for any action gamer. Gamers will be able to experience the meaning of real fighting. The game is developed by Vanillaware and published by Ignition Entertainment in North America. The game is playable on the Wii. Set to release in North America on September 8, the game is set to create a fighting game spectacle in the western world. Already released in Japan, the highly popular game is set to knock on the doors of both Europe and North America.
The game allows the player to take control of both the Wii motions as well as the GameCube control system. The first week of the game’s release in Japan saw record sales with the whole lot of shipped copies being sold.
The flexible game allows the players to choose between three different game modes, which require different strategy for playing. The game focuses on a fugitive named Kisuke who loses his memory to forget the deadly crime he had committed. The game allows you to choose between 2 characters Kisuke and Momohime, a young princess of the Province of Mino. Both Kisuke and Momohime, start their missions in opposite directions. Both are extremely talented fighters.
Swords which are highly critical in this game are distinguished as 2: Tachi an Odachi. Odachi is better as the opponent gets injured faster, but is heavier than taichi. The former is better for killing enemies within short intervals of time, while the latter is suitable for slaughtering a group of enemies. The game can be played in Unmatched, Carnage and Insane Mode. Carnage mode is action based while unmatched mode is focused on building characters by leveling up. Insane mode is playable on after successfully completing the unmatched mode.
Set on the main island of Japan known as Honshu. A conflict begins over the possession over the two powerful swords, known as the demon blades. The swords are cursed and they are rumored to bring madness, tragedy or even untimely death. Play this game to experience the thrill.
