Guitar Hero 5 is a thrilling game for all those who enjoy listening to or playing music. The game is a music based video game, the fifth installment of the immensely popular Guitar Hero series. Developed by Neversoft, Vicarious Visions and Budcar Creations and published by Activision and Redoctance the game is sure to enchant the western world. This game is playable on the platforms of PS2, PS3, Wii and XBox 360. This multiplayer game is all set to enchant the stressed world on September 1st, 2009.

The player will experience the difference when he becomes a part of a 4 member band, including the bass guitar, lead, drum and vocals. The game will feature a variety of up gradation from the previous game. The player will now be able to combine any instrument to enhance the sound quality. A new mechanical play titled ‘Band Moments’ will require members of the band to play successful songs or parts of the song in order to get rewards in the form of visuals on the screen. The composition of the game is such that if a player fails to play a song correctly the other player can help the failed player to play as well as he possibly can.

There will be bonus levels in this game a well, such as scoring the player will be able to receive during star power. The bonus levels open up unlockable content once completed. The ‘Party Play’ mode and the ‘Rockfest Mode’ are the two features also announced. The party mode allows to player to drop out in the middle of a song or switch instruments and the difficulty level while playing. The ‘Rockfest mode’ allow players to include some mini modes like ‘Elimination mode’, where the worst performing player can be dropped out.

Each challenge in the game features three possible levels of Gold, Platinum and Diamond, with the Diamond level being the toughest. The rewards and cash received by the players can be used to buy new outfits or guitars.

This is a must play game for all music lovers. Watch out for it on September 1. I’m sure all Guitar Hero fans will be sure to love this latest release.
