Gaia Online
Well if you haven’t already visited Gaia Online, now is as good a time as ever. With a record 6 million users, this is one of the hottest game sites to join. It’s basically an online anime hang out. You can play games, talk in forums, and much more.

Membership is free, which is one of the best things about the site. They have a minimum of 20,000 gamers online at any given moment. I just checked and right now there are over 60,000 online at this very moment.
I have heard there can be some technical issues that arise on the site. Apparantly not everything works smoothly all the time, but it’s worth a quick sign up to find out more about it.
You get to create your own character on sign up and customize your “avatar”. Then you get a quick walk thru of what the site has to offer. Then you get to check out the games they have to offer which are pretty much all multiplayer mini games. There is also Gaia Towns, where you can chat with other members. Lastly there is a special events section that covers invitations, etc. Then you can “accept quest” and be taken on a full tour of the world you’re about to enter.
It’s all something that was pretty fun to do. Once you sign up you are sent an email which will take you to the membership login. So be sure to check your email.
