Flock has been developed by Proper Games and is being published by Capcom. Flock is all set to be released on April 9, 2009 for the PC, XBox 360, and PS3.

Flock is one of those games which has a simple premise, looks good on screen, is fun to play but very, very difficult to master. It is one of those games that looks very easy but ends up being a challenge.

So what is this game all about? You are an alien with a UFO and your job is to collect animals from earth. That is right… you are an animal abducting alien.

You collect sheep, pigs, cows and chickens in different levels and your job is to safely escort them to your spaceship. You have a tractor ray and a depressor ray and you can use these to scare the animals into running on to your ship. You can move objects, flatten crops and also move the animals themselves in your bid to collect as many as possible. Your progress depends on meeting the goals within a specified time.

As your progress in the game, escorting the animals becomes more and more difficult. The strategy used to escort sheep will not work for chicken. Further, you will face many difficulties like narrow passages, ledges and other such challenges which will require you to think out of the box. Sheep shrink when drenched. Hence, you may have to wet them at the fountain to get them to pass narrow passages. On top of that, it would have to be done before the sheep become dry and swell up.

You play this game on an island and any animal which has fallen into the water has to be saved quickly before it dies. If you let too many animals die, you may not complete your target numbers and may get stuck.

The level editor enables you to come up with customized levels to make your game more difficult or easy depending on how you want to play the game. There are about 50 different stages which will challenge your abilities to the limit.
