Far Cry 2: Ready to Entertain You

Far Cry: 2 is a first person shooter game scheduled for release on October 24, 2008. It is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.

The game will take you inside war torn Africa. Your mission is to capture “The Jackal”, who is responsible for rekindling the fire between two rival groups in Africa. To do so you will have to be extremely careful and tactful and exploit the weaknesses of the rival groups.
You will also have to woo the leaders of the factions to complete your mission.

The story is gripping. The game is powered by the Dunia engine. This engine was built for this game specifically. It has amazing graphics, a day and night cycle, storm effects, music, special effects, etc.

The African landscape has been portrayed artistically so the close ups are extremely breath taking. Being in Africa, there will obviously be a lot of animals in this game. However, none of them will be carnivores. Only herbivorous animals have been included since the developers thought that with both kinds of animals, it would be a big job to balance the gaming ecosystem.

Mid way through the game, the player meets a friend called Marty. For all that’s worth, you can stay as Marty’s friend or shoot him in the head. However, it is better to have him as a teammate than going alone in this barbarous land. Marty can also save you if enemies try to attack.

There are millions of tactics that you could use to kill your enemies. For example, you can use a flamethrower, which ignites the grass and disables your enemies from being able to crossover and hunt you down. There are also a wide range of weapons including machetes and machine guns just to name a few.
