Coraline the game is set to release in January 2009. Based on the upcoming film ‘Coraline’, it will allow gamers to explore and interact within a 3-D environment.
The game is a story of a young girl named Coraline. She finds a different version of her normal world somewhere behind a secret door. At first look, the world appears similar to her normal world but as she explores the new world, it turns out to be bizarre and dangerous. The counterfeit mother of the new world wants to keep her there forever. Now Coraline has to make use of her wits to come out from the clutches of Other World.
You assume the role of Coraline. Within this game, you will explore the Pink Palace, apartments, crannies, nooks as well as unpredictable places in the Other World.
The game is being developed for a number of gaming platforms including PS2, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. Players will have the opportunity to explore Coraline’s home apartment flat as well as Other World.
In this game, the player can interact with characters that are present in 2 distinct worlds. They are Other World and Coraline’s normal world. The game will also include other unique mini-games as well as adventures with Coraline’s friends Cat and Wybie; in which you get the chance to unlock the mysteries of Other World. The visual style of the game is mesmerising and it definitely provides a thrilling experience for all players. You will be navigating through the Other Mother’s Web in an adventure that is full of deceit.
