Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway
Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway will be released on August 26, 2008. It is being published by Ubisoft and developed by Gearbox Software.
It is based on a true story. Paratroopers of the 101st division of airborne paratroopers were sent on September 17, 1944 to seize the bridges in Eindhoven in Netherlands. The British General Bernard Montgomery was in charge of this operation.
This daring operation was called Market Garden. In this operation, the paratroopers were supposed to capture a narrow road, which would then serve as the gateway to the enemy. The paratroopers were able to seize only one end of the narrow road because they were less in number than the Germans. In addition, the British army did not reach in time to help them. Therefore, they were not able to secure their objectives fully.
This is the third game in the Brothers in Arms series. It is a first person game where the player plays a World War 2 paratrooper during Operation Market Garden. The graphics of the game are next generation and have been powered by Unreal Engine 3. It gives you an extremely realistic experience. With Dolby Digital surround sound and real time special effects, this game has made use of cutting edge technology.
Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway is also an online multiplayer game. It will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
Like in the previous series, the player has to command his or her squad using hand signals. While tackling enemies, the player can hide behind cover, which is an important strategy of the game. In addition, there is a PC version of this game. The game will release on different dates but within the same month. The main challenge in this game is to find the enemy before they find you. Therefore, when the player gets commands from headquarters then he has to go on patrol and attempt to ambush the enemy.
