Air Traffic Chaos is a new game published by Majesco and developed by Sonic Powered and was released on August 26, 2008. It was released for the Nintendo DS only.

In this game the player takes on the role of an air traffic controller. The player has to complete his or her tasks despite of the weather conditions. This game rewards the players for their performances. There are 16 merit badges for the players. Rookies don’t have to worry because this game offers you a tutorial to manage the skies.

This game is based on the popular Japanese series titled “I am an air traffic controller”. The players are supposed to direct the arriving and departing planes. You are the only person who can prevent a mid air collision. The game seems to be easy at first becomes more difficult as you progress. The difficulty lies in decision making. You have to inform planes to either slow down or speed up and clear out. You also have to keep an eye on the tarmac and the skies as an air traffic controller. Your job is very crucial and you have to take it seriously as people’s lives are at stake.

The camera takes a top view of the game giving the player a wide perspective. The design of the airport is quite simple and the detail level of the graphics is minimal. The graphics are bright in color and the animated characters are pretty cute. The game has a special encyclopedia so that the player can become more familiar with the air traffic controller’s lingo. This encyclopedia also tends to act as a training manual. Also, you can share your scores with your buddies and show them off if they are high enough.
