Become A Video Game Tester

So you are probably thinking, what is a black box tester?  The term “Black Box” is meant to describe a specific testing method.  What that means in simple terms is that the testing you will do does not require you to have knowledge of the internal structure of the product.  Many times you are testing the product for functionality.

The House of the Dead: Overkill was just released on February 10th, 2009 exclusively for the Wii.

ngmoco is looking for a QA tester to test their mobile games.

Jumpgate Evolution has been developed by NetDevil and is being published by Codemasters. Jumpgate Evolution is all set to be released on March 2, 2009. It will be an online MMO.

Grey’s Anatomy has been developed by Longtail Studios and is published by Ubisoft. Grey’s Anatomy is all set to be released on March 10, 2009. It will be released for the Nintendo DS, Wii, and PC.

Grand Ages: Rome has been developed by Kalypso Media and is being published by Viva Media.

Empire: Total War has been developed by Creative Assembly and is being published by SEGA. Empire: Total War is all set to be released on March 3, 2009. It is being released exclusively for the PC.

NCsoft is looking for game testers to test in their NorCal studio.  They focus on MMORPGs (which is Massively Multiplayer Games).  You might be familiar with their hit City of Heroes.

Any time I can list out more than one option within the gaming field, I love to do it.  Today I happened to come across two very exciting and very different game jobs.

Street Fighter IV is all set to be released by Capcom on February 17, 2009. It is being released for XBox 360, PC, PS3 and the arcade.
