I know that the majority of the time, game jobs seem to be centralized around the West Coast.  But honestly there are game jobs all over the US and Canada.

I’m always looking for different types of game testing jobs and I came across one that was really interesting.

The game ‘Spider-Man: Web of Shadows’ set to be released on 21 October, 2008 vows to give you an unparalleled gaming experience. The game is being developed by Activision. The game is set in New York City and it allows the gamer to explore the entire city. The storyline involves the invasion of the city by symbiotes and Spiderman is the only person who can save it. The characters are Luke Cage, Vulture and Kingpin, S.H.I.E.L.D., and of course Spidey himself. When the city is invaded, S.H.I.E.L.D starts quarantining the city to save it while Spiderman comes to the rescue.

If you are a lover of futuristic games then, you will find Collapse: Devastated World, a great game. It is a PC game, which is being developed by Creoteam and published by Buka Entertainment. Creoteam is a game development company, which has experienced professionals on their staff. Some reports suggest that the game is due for a release on December 31st, 2008. There are 10 characters with unique capabilities and properties. There are also ten levels in this game, each of which greatly differs from one another.

Located all over the world, Gameloft is a hot spot for mobile games.

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, will release by the end of this year. This game is being published by Electronic Arts and was developed by Pandemic Studios. Pandemic Studios was also involved in developing the blockbuster series Starwars: Battlefront. Conquest is said to be a semi spiritual version of Starwars: Battlefront. The Lord of the Rings: Conquest will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo DS, and PC.

Big Fish Games is currently seeking a game tester via a staffing agency by the name of Parker Staffing Services for a 3 month gig.

Neverwinter Nights 2 is a game published by Atari. The adventure pack Mysteries of Westgate is set for release on July 25th, 2008. It was developed by Obsidian Entertainment (Ossian Studios). The pack will be available for digital download for just $10 bucks. A very low price to pay for such a thrilling game. Some of the features of the game are 15 hours of game play, captivating background scores, a new story, a new set of monsters, etc.
