Most video games have been labeled as violent for centuries, which is totally wrong. Other than just playing, there are many useful applications for video games. And these applications have been proven by years of study and research.

If you have decided to make a career out of game testing, then before appearing for an interview you should thoroughly prepare yourself. There are some major points that need to be considered before you apply for the job of a of game tester.

If you are about to start your career as a game tester then this could be a golden chance for you. Santa Monica based Activision Inc. is looking for highly active QA Testers. This is company who has been in business for many years now and has published hit titles like Call Of Duty 4 and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. They are looking for a passionate gamer, who has excellent communication skills and who can help with developing and distributing high quality games.

Gaming is now being recognized as a great stress buster by many medical communities across the US. If you have an unused gaming console instead of throwing it away, just try using it once. There is a large community called ‘Get-Well Gamers Foundation’ established by some enthusiastic gaming activists. They collect unused gaming consoles and give them to people who can use them for their own benefit.

Before you apply for a game testing job, I think you should double check whether you are eligible for this position. There is no point in applying for a job that you do not qualify for.
