I’m sure the developer of Manhunt 2 (Rockstar Games) is not at all happy to hear about this. Target Corp has now pulled all of the Manhunt 2 games from its store. They say it’s due to gruesome content which can apparently be unlocked by hackers.
As you know I am always on the look out for jobs in the gaming industry. Most times what I come across on entry level gigs is a limited contract anywhere from 3-6 months. Well this particular position I found lasts at least 1 year.
We have all at one point or another played video games on our cell phones. It’s something to do while you’re in the doctor’s office, or waiting for an appointment. Bored with your parents, etc. There are a multitude of reasons that we play the games on our cell phones. I know I’ve personally given my cell phone to my kids just to keep them entertained for a few moments or to stop them from crying long enough to hear me out.
Not a day goes by that I don’t read about some parent group or religious congregation talking smack about video games and their negative results on society. Honestly I’m just tired of it.
Atari. You hear that name and I don’t know about you, but I get all nostalgic. I’m sure this will give away my age, but I started out playing Atari and did I love it. I remember opening up Space Invaders for Christmas one year, and I just knew I was getting my Atari. I could not find that gift quick enough!
